Maybe your baby falls asleep in your arms — and wakes the minute they touch the crib. Maybe every nap ends at 32 minutes. Maybe they’re suddenly waking every 90 minutes again.

Maybe your toddler keeps coming back out of their room after you’ve said goodnight. Or maybe the thing that worked beautifully two weeks ago suddenly doesn’t work at all.

You’ve moved bedtime. Changed the naps. Watched the wake windows. Fed them back to sleep. Tried not feeding them back to sleep. Maybe you’ve rocked, bounced, waited, Googled — or started wondering whether it’s time for sleep training.

And after all of it, you’re still asking:

What does my child actually need?

What brings families here

What can a pediatricsleep consultanthelp with?

Most families don’t arrive with one tidy problem. They arrive with a pattern — weeks of it — and a quiet feeling that they’re the only ones who can’t crack it.

You’re not. These are the exact situations I work through with parents every week:

Why nothing seems simple

The hardest sleep problemsrarely look likeone problem.

Sometimes we’ll start talking about bedtime — and realize the thing I want to look at actually happened hours earlier.

Maybe a nap ran short. Maybe the afternoon shifted. Maybe bedtime moved.

That’s why I don’t want to look at one difficult moment and guess. I want to understand the whole day.

A baby who wakes during every crib transfer and a toddler who keeps coming out of their room both get called “a bedtime problem.”

They usually don’t need the same answer. That’s the part worth figuring out first.

And by breakfast, you’re replaying the whole thing:

Was the nap too short?

Was bedtime too early?

Is the schedule wrong?

Is this a regression?

Should we start sleep training?

Should we stop sleep training?

When you don’t knowwhich part matters, everything startslooking like the problem.

That’s how you end up changing five things while trying to fix one.

You don’t needmore things to try. We’ll figure outwhich partmatters.

When sleep starts making sense

One bad nightstops having the powerto change everything.

Once you know what you’re actually working on, every short nap, false start or night waking doesn’t automatically require a brand-new plan.

You stop solvinglast night’s problemevery morning.

One rough night doesn’t necessarily mean the whole plan is wrong. Tell me what happened first. Then we can decide whether anything actually needs to change.

2:13 a.m. is a terrible timeto make a new sleep plan.

With a plan, this moment is different. You’re not deciding all over again at 2:13 a.m. — feed, wait, go in, start over. You already know what tonight gets, and why.

The plan should answer those questions before you’re standing beside the crib.

One 32-minute napstops rewritingthe entire day.

A short nap is information. One difficult bedtime is information. A night waking is information. The question is what the pattern is telling us—not how quickly we can change everything because yesterday was hard.

You don’t need to getbetter at thinkingabout sleep.

The goal is understandingyour child’s sleepwell enough to thinkabout it less.

Andrea is amazing! She’s incredibly responsive, kind, and guides you through the process in a way that holds you accountable — but always meets you where you are as a parent and respects what you’re comfortable with.

— Rylee WellsGoogle review

You finally sit downafter bedtime.

Twenty minutes later, you hear them again.

It’s 2:13 a.m. You hear them again. I know — you just got back into bed.

So you lie there for a second and listen. Maybe they’ll settle.

Then you hear them again. Okay. Do you give them another minute? Do you go in? Are they hungry? If you feed them, are you making tomorrow night harder?

This is usually where I’d tell you:

Don’t try to figure outthe next six monthsright now.

Let’s just look at tonight.

Because the hard part usually isn’t just being awake.

It’s not knowing what to dowhen you are.

Did I create this habit?

Should I change something?

Am I making it worse?

If you asked me that,I wouldn’t changeeverything yet.

I’d want to understand why this is happening first.

You don’t need anotheranswer from someonewho doesn’t knowyour child.

You need someone who canlook at what’s actuallyhappening.

Sometimes a parent mentions it almost in passing:

“She stopped taking her second nap a few weeks ago.”

Okay. Let’s talk about that.

Because a detail that seems unrelated can sometimes explain why bedtime suddenly changed.

The part that’s different

Having instructions is differentfrom having someonein your corner.

Any book can hand you a schedule. What it can’t do is answer you on the Thursday when the nap goes sideways, bedtime falls apart, and you’re standing in the hallway wondering whether to hold the line or adjust.

The nap that went nothing like the plan — and you want to know what tonight gets now.

Bedtime fell apart halfway through — do you start over, or keep going?

Your child reacted differently than you expected — normal, or a sign to change something?

The quiet “what do I do now?” at 9:40 p.m. — answered by someone who already knows your child.

I already know your child, your routine, and what we’ve tried — so when real life happens, you’re asking me.Not the internet.

— that’s the corner I sit in.

Before I tell youwhat I think,I want to knowwhat happened.

How did your child fall asleep last night?

What happens when you put her down?

When did they wake?

What did you do when they did?

And what did you do next?

What did naps look like yesterday?

When did you first notice things changing?

What have you already tried?

And here’s one I really want to know:

What worked —even if it onlyworked for a little while?

Those details matter to me. Because “my baby wakes at night” can describe a hundred completely different situations. And I don’t want to give you an answer until I understand yours.

I don’t need your babyto sleep likesomebody else’s baby.I need to understand howyour baby is sleeping — and whatyou’re trying to change.

A real person behind the plan.

I’ve spent twenty years caring for children — as a private nanny, an in-home daycare provider, and a school behavioral interventionist. Newborns through preschool.

Real rooms, real routines, real families: a perspective that goes beyond sleep theory.

I trained at the Center for Pediatric Sleep Management, and I work as an infant and toddler sleep consultant — but the job, the way I do it, starts before any advice: understand what’s actually happening first.

Virtual pediatric sleep support

And you don’t have to live down the street for us to work through this together. Sleep happens at home — that’s where we’ll work through it, on a call, one on one. See how virtual sleep support works.

If you’re in the Denver area, in-person support may also be available. We can talk about that when we talk.

Working together

What happensafter we talk?

01

Reserve your complimentarysleep assessment.

A real conversation, not a sales call. You tell me what’s been happening, I ask a few questions, and you leave knowing what a next step could look like — whether or not we ever work together.

02

We talk through what’sactually happening.

First, I listen. What nights look like, what naps look like, what’s been hardest — and what you’ve already tried, even the things that only worked for a little while.

03

You receive apersonal recommendation.

Based on your child, their stage, and your family: what I’d suggest, why, and what working together would look like. Not a generic sleep schedule or a one-size-fits-all program — and the decision is always yours.

04

Support that adaptsto real life.

Because sleep doesn’t always follow the plan: a nap changes, bedtime goes differently, something that worked yesterday suddenly doesn’t work tonight. If tomorrow looks completely different, tell me what happened and we’ll look at it again. You won’t be back at Google, starting from zero. Andrea is still there.

What better sleep can look like

What would easierlook like at your house?

You put them down — and they stay asleep.

You walk out of the room without holding your breath.

A 32-minute nap starts becoming an actual nap.

They wake during the night — and get back to sleep without needing the entire bedtime routine again.

Your toddler hears “goodnight” — and bedtime actually ends.

You and your partner actually finish dinner.

That’s the changewe’re working toward.

Not one lucky night.A new way of sleeping that your child is learning.

Falling asleep.Staying asleep.Getting back to sleep.

With less and less help from you.

You go to bed without wondering how many times you’ll be back up. And when something does change — a nap gets weird, bedtime shifts, a tooth comes in — you understand your child’s sleep well enough that you’re not starting over.

Your child knows how to sleep. And you know how to help themkeep doing it.

For families nationwide

Why virtual sleepconsulting works.

A parent and child together at home — where virtual sleep support actually happens

The honest question underneath it: can this actually work if I’m never physically in your home? Yes — because sleep doesn’t happen in my office. It happens in yours, at 2 a.m., inside your real rooms and routines. That’s exactly where the useful information lives — and where our work happens too.

And virtual support isn’t a phone call and a generic plan. I learn your child’s actual sleep and your family’s real schedule first — then we build recommendations around your child, and I stay with you while you put them into practice.

  • I learn your child's real patterns, routines, and schedule — before suggesting anything
  • You get a plan built around your child, and guidance while you use it at home
  • When a nap, a bedtime, or a night doesn't go as planned, we read it together and adjust
  • The same one-on-one support, wherever you live — no Colorado required

The most important part of sleep support doesn’t happen in my office. It happens in your home — in the moments when you’re actually putting the plan into practice.

Closer to home

In-home pediatric sleepconsulting inDenver.

For Denver-area families who want me in the room — bedtime as it actually happens, the light in the nursery, the routine in real time — selected in-home support is available locally.

It’s the higher-touch version of the same work. And for families everywhere else: virtual is the full service, not a lesser one.

We are so happy with the results we achieved working with Andrea! Our daughter is now able to fall asleep independently, is sleeping much better, and can put herself back to sleep if she wakes during the night.

— Jaye ScheidGoogle review

We reached out to Andrea because our baby was struggling with independent sleep, our baby was sleeping alone in basinet for stretches until 4 months when I started back at work. The long nights and constant feeds made it nearly impossible for us to get any rest. Andrea provided us with a sleep plan that was easy to follow and tailored to our baby's needs. Within a few weeks, we saw significant improvements, and our baby was sleeping through the night! We are so grateful for her help!

Andrea started with our family when our daughter was 4 weeks old, and she was such a blessing during those early weeks. She was always punctual, reliable, and communicative, and we looked forward to having her each night. She not only took care of our daughter but also helped us with tips and support that made the transition to parenthood smoother. I can't recommend her enough!

Let’s start with last night.

Tell me what bedtime looked like.

Tell me what’s been happening with naps.

Tell me what you’ve already tried.

Tell me the thing you keep wondering if you’re doing wrong.

I’ll start there.

Start with a complimentarypediatric sleep assessment.

A $149 professional assessment — complimentary.

I personally set this time aside to understand what’s happening with your child’s sleep — what bedtime, nights and naps actually look like, what you’ve already tried, and where things may be getting stuck.

By the end of your assessment, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what’s happening, what I recommend, and what the next step could look like for your family.

The personalized sleep plan, implementation, and continued support are separate professional services. If you’d like that continued support, I’ll walk you through the approach I recommend, what’s included, and what working together would look like. There is never any obligation to continue.

That’s what the assessment is for.
